  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  1. Prepare the mixture: In a large bowl, combine mashed potatoes, breadcrumbs, cornflour, cheese, onion, green chilli, red chilli powder, black pepper, chaat masala, oregano, salt, and coriander.
  2. Mix everything well until you get a soft, firm dough-like mixture.
  3. Shape the nuggets: Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small nuggets or bite-sized cylinders.
  4. Prepare the coating: Mix cornflour and water to make a smooth, slightly thin slurry.
  5. Dip each nugget into the cornflour slurry and then coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry: Heat oil over medium heat. Fry the nuggets in batches until they turn crisp and golden brown.
  7. Remove them onto a paper towel to drain excess oil.
