Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make vanilla ice cream without an ice-cream maker?
Yes! This recipe requires no ice-cream maker and can be prepared easily at home.
How long does homemade vanilla ice cream last?
For the best taste and texture, consume it within 1–2 weeks when stored properly in an airtight container.
Can I use vanilla essence instead of vanilla extract?
Yes, vanilla essence can be used, although pure vanilla extract gives a more natural and rich flavour.
Why does my homemade ice cream become hard?
Homemade ice cream can become firm because it doesn’t contain the stabilizers used in commercial ice cream. Let it rest at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
